The honey produced by bees that suck the nectar of its flowers has a light straw yellow color, sometimes almost transparent or amber, and a liquid consistency that tends to crystallize quickly. It has a delicate and sweet taste, with a pleasant scent of wild herbs, without bitterness or aftertaste. Sulla honey is rich in vitamins A, C and group B and is able to bring numerous benefits to our body, including a purifying and detoxifying effect, an important source of easily assimilable energy and diuretic and laxative properties. Furthermore,
Miele Del Tuccio is a company that deals with the sale of high quality bee products.
It is located in Bagaladi in the province of Reggio Calabria, in the countryside of the area there are various hives that house the bees that produce honey by sucking flower nectars immersed in unspoilt nature, offering a healthy and wholesome, but above all tasty final product .
The stages of honey:
The processing of honey and bee products carried out by the Miele Del Tuccio company is eco-compatible, respects the bees and the surrounding environment. The first operation is the collection of the supers which are taken to the laboratory for the extraction of the honey from the sealed cells.
They are first opened by removing the wax, then they are placed in a honey extractor which acts by means of centrifugal force, this allows the honey to be expelled from the cells in a natural way.
Preparation:
At this point the honey must be filtered in order to eliminate the various residues, for example those of wax or in any case small solid parts. The honey is then transferred to a ripener for decantation.
In this phase the air bubbles that formed during the centrifuge come to the surface and must be eliminated with a slotted spoon. Then the honey is ready for the jars and to be enjoyed. Honey is just one of the bee products and is certainly the best known.
